Riverside Personnel Services' (RPS) consistent good service
and commitment to the community
has been recognized and rewarded the
past few years through many awards.
In 2005, the YWCA Woman of Achievement
was awarded to Kathy Hartman.
In 2004, International Soroptomists of Riverside
recognized
Sue and Zee/Riverside Personnel with their annual Award for
Advancing the Status of Women.
In 2003, RPS was a Finalist in the
"Top Companies to Work for in
the Inland Empire," sponsored by The Business Press.
Sue was honored by the Agency Executives Association as the
2000 "Spirit of Nonprofits."
Sue and Zelma were chosen as 1999 Women of Distinction by
The Business Press.
RPS was recognized by the United Way of the Inland Valleys as
having conducted the "Most Improved Campaign" in the small business
category (1999-2000 campaign).
RPS was honored by the United Way of
the Inland Valleys as having conducted an "Outstanding Small
Business Campaign"
(1997/98 and 1998/99 campaigns).
In 1995 the first Peggy Fouke Wortz Award was given to Sue
Mitchell by the YWCA for philanthropic excellence.
RPS was the cover story on the "Think & Grow Rich" national
newsletter, "Personal Crisis Leads to Powerful Partnership,"
August 1995.
At the 1992 YWCA Women of Achievement event, Sue and Zee were
presented with the Athena Award for professional excellence,
community service and for mentoring women.
Sue and Zee were honored as Women Entrepreneurs of the Year
in 1991 by Inc. Magazine and Ernst and Young at their
regional award dinner.
In 1989, RPS was the first recipient of the
Riverside Chambers of
Commerce Small Business of the Year Award.
